SafeOpen Backing Plate (patent pending) is an optional extra that allows you to fit SafeOpen door openers to the flimsiest of hollow core doors. As long as there is a timber frame of at least 25mm (1'') underlying the bottom and edge of the door, the SafeOpen Backing Plate will create an industrial grade fixing. Includes fixings.
This upgrade is a further advantage over simple DIY products one might find elsewhere. It provides distributed compressive strength to the fixing.
